Mock Prison Riot 2023

Save the date! The 2023 Mock Prison Riot will be held 30 April - 3 May at the decommissioned West Virginia Penitentiary: 901 - 8th Street, Moundsville, WV 26041.

Our event is comprised of two distinct components: the Skills Competition on Sunday/Monday and the Mock Prison Riot, which consists of workshops, training scenarios, technology demonstrations, and a technology exhibit hall on Tuesday/Wednesday.

2023 Mock Prison Riot General Schedule:

Saturday: April 29, 2023

Registration open, NOON to 5:00 pm - South Gate of the West Virginia Penitentiary

The site will be open from NOON until 5:00 pm for Team Leaders and their Team Members for Skills Competition walk-throughs and briefings. There will be a Team Leader only meeting at 5:00 pm in the Training Center.

Skills Competition Team Leader Meeting, starting at 5:00 pm - Training Center Building on site at the West Virginia Penitentiary. TEAM LEADERS ONLY

Sunday: April 30, 2023

Registration open 8 am to 4 pm - Enter through the South Gate

Skills Competition: 8 am to conclusion of events

Monday: May 1, 2023

Registration open, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm - enter through South Gate

Exhibitor set up, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. All exhibitors please register at the South Gate first, then proceed to the North Gate entrance to unload your booth and related items. All exhibitors must be set up by 8:00 pm. No set ups will be permitted Tuesday morning.
